Sorry, I just don’t see it.
This would be the first comic with only one of the boys involved. I couldn’t get Leon anywhere in this story, and while I could just have had Jake telling Leon the story, I thought the joke (such as it is) worked better this way.
I can’t find the news story online, but I heard on the radio about some cab company that had to make resumes in braille to accommodate blind people as part of some disabled rights laws. Cab company resumes. In braille. Your tax dollars at work, people. Except it’s the cab company paying for the resumes out of their own expenses. This is why people don’t trust the government or tort lawyers. (Because you know this law exists because of lawsuits.)
Also the debut of Max, pre-spiked hair. I don’t know if I planned to have him be recurring or if I just found a use for him as a commentary on strange promotional decisions.
