Yep, it’s me. My dad is worse and I seem to be getting over this cold, but it’s throwing me off, just as last week was starting to get into the work rhythm I’ve been trying to get into for a while now. I’d love to know what’s working against me! I didn’t get a Clutter Report in.
At any rate, I don’t think I’m going to get comic reviews done this week. I know X-O Manowar and Star Power are on cliffhangers but I’m still tired. If I’m better by Saturday I’ll do Blue Beetle just to get back on track. I don’t even know when the feature articles are going up, though I plan to start with this week’s Chapter By Chapter review of Star Trek: The Vulcan Academy Murders whatever day I start up again. Luckily I’ve finished the Spider-Man intros and Beast Machines story guides, so that’s two less worries. Not sure what’s happening this week, but I am going to try to get all of this week’s Daily Quickpost videos in just to have something post so you don’t forget me.
Otherwise, back to being sick of being tired and tired of being sick. Hope the rest of you have a better week.

Last time on Beast Machine Hunters, I learned I spent way too much time on a logo that will get less use than Movies With The Guys. The Season Two guide is only seven pages long and we went through all the planned episodes for the Battle For The Spark season. So what’s left?
The section is just labeled “Requests/Desires For New Season:”, so I’m guessing it’s just a list of what they wanted to do with the second half of Beast Machines. I still haven’t had time to rewatch the final show we got, so I’ve been working from memory. Finding an outstanding moment from my memory with this show is harder than with the two shows that preceded it. We have seen changes between the various guides and what I do remember from the show, which is what I find the most interesting about going through these; seeing what differences happen between the planning stage and the final work. It’s also why I enjoy novelization and comic adaptations, knowing they’re based on the latest available script and costume designs.
So let’s go through the final few pages (I linked to the guide in last week’s post if you want to follow along) and see what else was and wasn’t changed when it hit TV.

BW’s Daily Video> The Doctor’s Numbering System Makes No Sense

The numbering is only one of the reasons I’m parting with New Who/Neo Who. Also, here’s the really long Jay Excel video the host mentions, and the shorter follow-up. They’re worth watching to see how Chibnall failed this show, and to note that Davies decided not to fix any of the problems he caused. So much for Doctor Who‘s savior.
I’d also point out that we don’t know for sure the little black girl was the Doctor/pre-Doctor’s original form, which makes it even harder to make this make sense.
