Saturday Night CHRISTMAS Showcase> The SuperKitties’ Merry Mousemas

It’s December! That means for the next four weeks we have Christmas specials, plus random Christmas themed posts all over the site! If you know a good Christmas special, Christmas song or song cover, or fun Christmas skit then feel free to send it my way. If I agree I’ll add it to the proper Christmas playlist on my YouTube channel and right there at the Spotlight!

Tonight I bring the first new addition, the Christmas episode of SuperKitties! I started Captain Yuletide due to a lack of superhero and other crimefighting shows including a saving Christmas episode, like the ones I grew up with. So to continue to prove that preschool and elementary school kids are getting the best superhero shows, here’s superheroes saving Christmas!

Kittydale is dealing with theft of Christmas presents just as Santa Claus drops them off. Who would sink so low and why? It’s up to Ginny, Buddy, Sparks, and Bitsy, who is one of the festive crook’s victims, to find the presents and get them back under their trees in time for Christmas morning. Can they succeed? Can Christmas be saved without the help of a green-nosed reindeer? And where does the “mouse” come into play? Let’s find out.

“Yesterday’s” Comic> The Blue Beetle #36

“But I thought we weren’t supposed to run away from home, Mr. Beetle?” “You should when it chases you, kids.”

The Blue Beetle #36

Fox Features Publications (November, 1944)

So it’s been a mixed bag since Fox got the rights to Dan back thus far. That’s at least better than what Holyoke had going on. I’m trying to figure out how to pad this out for the homepage and so far I’m not sure what else to talk about. Still ignoring the one-page comics and the O’Brine Twins. Also this is one of those comics where Comic Book Plus has two copies up. As I write this I don’t know which is the better scan so here’s the first and second scans. Read along and let’s get going.

Beast Machine Hunters> The First Season Guide part 7

Last time on Beast Machine Hunters we finished looking at the quasi-spiritual lore of the show. Now it’s time for geographical history.

I’m disappointed in myself. I really should have found a way to include a line in the title explaining what we’re going over next, like I have with past story bibles. That’s on me. Now I’m stuck with the format I made for myself.

So what are we going over? Locations. I haven’t seen a lot about locations in the story showing up in the story bible. Sure, we looked around the Enterprise-D a bit, but not to the level Mainframe is with this one. This is quite the long bible, and I have one more before Beast Machine Hunters is finished, since I actually have the second season bible as well.

This time we’re taking a tour of Cybertron, to see what locations have been figured out in the series. I’m hoping to get it all in one part, but it might end up taking two. We’ll see what happens as we dig in to this installment.

BW’s Christmas Specials Playlist

Classic and new Christmas specials and longer videos. See what I add all year and see if one of your favorites is on the list.

BW’s Yule Log

Let this play in the background and enjoy Christmas music and shorts. Check it all year to see what new Christmas stuff I add this year.

BW Christmas Special Reviews

I probably won’t get to do one this year as I want to focus on Captain Yuletide even though I have a subject in mind. Still, here are the ones I did before. And here are Christmas specials reviewed by other people. Note that some of them are not as good specials as the ones I reviewed. That happens, but for my videos I like to focus on ones I enjoy, flaws and all.

“Yesterday’s” Comic> Star Power #18

If you can count the number of guns, they didn’t put on as many as they wanted.
