Tomorrow I’ll be able to finally write an article of my own, which will be about the latest Flashpoint/Flushpoint news. Suffice to say…it won’t be a happy commentary. Then I have to start pour through my thoughts on E3 next week so I won’t be able to comment until the week after.

In the meantime, no other blog post you will read on Barbara’s return as Batgirl at the cost of Oracle will better demonstrate why this move is ill conceived than this one from Newsarama, and Op/Ed piece posted today by a woman who is pretty much in Oracle’s wheelchair. I recommend everyone read it, especially the DC writers and the people who make the expanded universe. (Oracle only appeared once in the history of the expanded media, the Birds of Prey TV series, and I’m the only person who enjoyed that show.)

I liked the show too but it was few and far between huh.

I have Birds of Prey on DVD and I really did enjoy it (and not just because its stars were HAWT!). Too bad it didn’t last longer, maybe Oracle would have been more of an icon.
