Due to going to a local convention this weekend I don’t have time to put together a Saturday Night Showcase, so let me spotlight a great article by Lauren Hudson of Comics Alliance as she explains just what the problem is with Catwoman and Starfire’s depictions in the latest DC 52 books Catwoman and Red Hood & The Outlaws. Basically, it isn’t the sexuality but how its depicted.

Additionally, check out Linkara’s review of both comics and other DC 52 releases this week in the video below (or after the jump), which is part of his newest series, That’s All I’m Saying, which is a review of his weekly comic purchases.

If the video isn’t working like it didn’t when I previewed it, check it out at Linkara’s website. But definitely read Hudson’s article!
