I missed round 6 and last week we had a holiday hiatus. Well, the Fights are back and it’s round 7 time!

I wasn’t kidding Monday when I said that the space battle was actually pretty good. You know, once you get past the Liefeldian art style. Oddly, the fight from the final issue, which should have been big, was completely “off-screen” to make up for it.

“Marvelous” round 7

The Battlefield: Battlestar Galactica: Journey’s End #1 (Maximum Press; August, 1996)

The Promoters: see Monday’s article

So Elias warns the colony that the Cylons are coming full force to Earth. He doesn’t say when.

And the casserole won't be done for a while yet!

The good guys do get some shots in.

My hat was in that Base Star.

However, the Cylons are getting the upper hand this time.

"I can't die! My visor is too cool!"

And Cylons don’t take prisoners.

"I regret...everything, actually."

The biggest blows, however, are the destruction of the Pegasus and the Ark, the latter never firing off a shot of their super-powerful cannon.

So why didn't the Ark fire? For that matter we still don't know why Adam & Eve chose to stay.

Why so much devastation? Rob Liefeld. That that it matters, since the entire Maximum Press run was rendered nonexistent thanks to bad writing Elias. Sadly, the comics themselves still exist.
