Summer Day (that was just mean on her parents’ part) is coming home. She’s Doreen’s sister but also was the Hyena. (I really need to dig out that trade of the original miniseries.) But if she’s cured who did Firestorm stop from trashing the institution she used to be in? And how does Summer’s doctor, who just arrived as an intern, fit into this? And Martin used to be married?

What they got right: It’s a good mystery setup, and our heroes are quick to realize something is off about this Hyena instead of dumbly assuming it has to be the same one.

What they got wrong: Martin just got fired and we have the Hyena thing. Sure, it’s nice that Martin gets to have a personal life but it seems the wrong time to drop in an ex-wife subplot.

Recommendation: I’m still enjoying this series. Conway is doing a good job and you should look into it.
