As part of an interview with Collider‘s Matt Goldberg, animated film director Brad Bird, who has worked in both hand drawn (The Iron Giant, about to get a limited re-release) and computer animation (The Incredibles, which is about to finally get a sequel) discusses how both should still be produced. He also goes into why so many studios fail to emulate Disney 2-D wise and purse 3-D animation.
