BW’s Morning Article Link: Mega Man The Movie

A long time ago I brought you a fan movie based on the Mega Man game franchise. It’s no longer available since Lockerz bought and destroyed Vodpod. Now Lockerz no longer exists, so thanks for nothing guys! At any rate, Eddie Lebron may never get to make his version into a theatrical movie, but The Hollywood Reporter is reporting (obviously) that an official Mega Man movie is in production and is in talks to acquire a director. To be honest, I expect the low-budget fanfilm to be more accurate. Plus THR is using artwork for Mega Man X, not the original game. They also don’t say if it will be live-action or animated. Personally, animated would allow it to be closer to the games, but you know how Hollywood hate cartoons.
