Over at The Clutter Reports I reviewed Transformers Animated Jazz. There’s a few more loose Transformers but I kind of have a problem. There is a huge chunk of my Marvel comics missing around where we currently are. So I may have to get to the next stage of the comic organizing mega-project sooner than intended. So rather than skip ahead all the way to issue #12 of Thunderbolts I’m going to leave the Marvel comics behind for this and maybe next week. Instead we’re looking at a Tom & Jerry comic, the only one I own. It’s lame compared to Marvel Tuesday but I want to go through these right. We’ll also be finishing the Phantom 2040 tie-in comic this week.
Meanwhile, Sunday is the debut of Fox’s Star Trek-like comedy The Orville. I came home from a birthday party today so I don’t know if I’ll get to it in time for Monday so the review will be either Monday or Tuesday, depending on what else happens in my week. Wednesday will continue the Voltronathon with a look at the show that was intended to be Voltron. Would it have captured our hearts the way the show we ended up with had. Find out on Wednesday.
In the meantime, please say a prayer for Texas, Florida, Mexico, and all the other islands and countries being rocked or recovering from hurricanes, earthquakes, and everything else. If you can lend a hand or support a charity, that’s even better, but as a man who believes in God to help others and give strength through tough times I’m also a supporter of prayer and I don’t care what certain angry parties say about that. I’m unemployed and living far away from the chaos so that’s all I can offer right now. Hopefully we’ll be done with all these disasters for awhile. Stay safe, everybody!

I did watch The Orville. I’ll wait until your review to add my two cents, but let’s just say that I was pleasantly surprised and plan to watch it every Sunday night.

[…] My sleep cycle also affected what I could do for decluttering, so I hoped this week’s Clutter Report would be a big win in clearing RSS feeds. I was not as successful as I’d like but I did a fair job. As to this week’s intended Jake & Leon comic, I’m not too bothered with missing it this week, because the best I could come up with is the various female Batman villains harassing Bruce Timm for saying they weren’t good villains. Of course he also put down the male villains in his attempt to defend the gender-swapped Penguin, but if that’s the best I could come up with, the only advantage to making the comic would be drawing practice. I could actually use that, but the end result otherwise really wouldn’t have been worth it for you guys. Hopefully I come up with something better this week. I am having some ideas of another “Herodude And Enemies” storyline that will finally use Doctor Monkeyface. […]
