This is more my kind of cuddly monster.
My Pet Monster was a plush monster with breakway handcuffs which retains a cult following. It had it’s own cartoon series and a direct-to-video live-action movie. It also gets used in a lot of sets. Matt of Dinosaur Dracula happens to love the criminal fuzzball and with some help managed to find a bunch of movies in which My Pet Monster was hanging out in some kid’s fictional bedroom.

I remember the My Pet Monster television commercials. I just watched some on Youtube to refresh my memory. I also see that Youtube has some of the cartoon episodes and the movie. That’s totally news to me about the cartoons and film. Then again it was the 80s, and most toys had cartoons and/or a movie of some kind.

On the Monster Squad movie image, I see a Comico art poster that features various characters from its comics. There’s the Invid from Robotech: New Generation, the Argo spaceship from Starblazers, the characters of Johnny Quest, and also wants to look to be the superheroes from Elementals. Plus, there’s a Comico Johnny Quest poster above that one. To me, that was very cool to see. Comico truly was a cutting edge comic book company in the 1980s.
