Matt Reeves just posted some pictures of the new Batmobile from his upcoming theatrical take on Batman and holy automobiles it’s an actual car and not a jet-powered tank! This is what I’ve wanted to see for a while in a Batmobile. It doesn’t draw a lot of attention beyond “hey, neat custom car”, but still feels like a car Batman would drive. It’s something we haven’t seen in live-action Batmobiles since Tim Burton’s racing tank and leagues above the “Tumbler” tank of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy and whatever that was Zac Snyder and Joel Schumacher gave us in their movies. This is a step in the right direction.
For comparison here’s a video that features all the live-action Batmobiles over the years.

Where was that picture taken of you standing next to the Batmobile, Tronix? Hey, that would be a cool pic to use as a profile picture on a dating profile on a dating site!

One of the ComiCONNs, one of the conventions I used to go to. It goes by a different name now.

Was this the convention in Hartford or the one at one of Connecticut’s casinos?

I’ve not been to the casinos. It used to be in Trumbull. It’s from ComiCONN 2013.

Cool! I know Trumbull has a huge hotel with a conference center near the Merritt Parkway, so it must have been around there. Good location for a comics convention because it’s only 50 miles to New York City down the Merritt Parkway or I-95. So the pool of folks who could show up for that convention would be from either CT or the NYC area.
