Help Support & Improve BW Media Spotlight
It’s one of our recurring topics here at the Spotlight, the idea that escapism is a good thing and that “realism” is really a cynical take on the world rather than anything believable. And the more fantastic your world is the lest “real” it needs to be. Fantasy author James Harrington makes his own case in favor of escapism and an example of how you can be escapist while still being close to real life.
