Gary over at Crisis On Earth Prime occasionally makes comic strips using a LEGO maker program or something. Gary, what do you use? Anyway, he did a rather fun one where the Punisher stops in at a DC supervillain meeting. While I don’t hate the Punisher as much as I do Wolverine, it’s still a fun little strip, and since I don’t have a Worldbuilding Project report today you get comedy. Features a cameo by Deadpool if that interests you.

I’m going over news from Toy Fair, and it’s a pretty busy place. Sadly neither of the sites I work on would offer me a potential invite but if I can find someone going over the toys that interest me I’ll be happy. Transformers is looking amazing, but we aren’t here to discuss Transformers. We’re talking Power Rangers…whose toy license oddly Hasbro now has. For whatever reason Bandai’s American division is opting out of Power Rangers even though their Japanese origin point is still making toys for the Sentai series Power Rangers is based on and Bandai US has made the toys since the very first Mighty Morphin series. This should be interesting.
However, this isn’t the announcement that matters to this site. It’s the new Power Rangers series. While Nickelodeon just recently began Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel (because dropping “Super” into season two is just what they do now) the next series has been announced, and it’s an interesting choice given it’s a Sentai they skipped a few years ago.

Here we are at the big climax. At least it should be since there is only this and the next chapter to review and the book is done. Plus they’re at their destination, the blood clot…and I know how much trouble those things can be. Mine was in the leg and took a shot at my lungs. Benes’ is near his brain and it’s taken a microscopic surgical team to deal with it if they have any hope of saving Benes and the knowledge he has. Plus as mentioned in the intro there is a huge spoiler coming up, so if you haven’t seen the movie or read this novelization you may want to turn away now and wait a few weeks for the next book to start. HINT: It’s another novelization, but this time for a comic. Yes, those exist.
As for this book, there are things it did better than the movie, like the science and science fiction and how it took advantage of the extra space, and things it did wrong, like character interactions. While Benes and Owens benefited Michaels, Grant, and Duval have been neutral while the additions to Peterson, Carter, and Reid have actually hurt their characterization a bit. But there’s no more time for character development. It’s time for the big event!

Three stories centered around school. I’m pretty sure this came out in time for the new school year.
