Meet Joe, a guy trying to find work in this economy to support his wife and son. The only job he can find is being a henchman for supervillains, but superheroes make the job difficult. Although Joe manages to sneak away and pack up his family, he will have to choose between them and his “career”.
What they got right: Two fronts, actually. One: fans often joke about the henchmen and soldiers of various criminals and evil empires having families, but making a story out of that (the second time I’ve seen it in a Batman story, actually) is a good idea, and Fisch does well with it. The other front is showing a more human side of Batman that tends to get lost in some versions of the “Dark Knight”. Also, Matches Malone.
What they got wrong: Umm…Ocean Master’s fashion sense?
Recommendation: One of Fisch’s best stories in this title, and the art works as well. Every much recommended.

Also, Superman fights giant toys.
