During their post-Crisis reboot DC gave Etta Candy a complete makeover and most recently the New 52 put Amanda Waller on a diet so she looks like Halle Berry. Is it the call of their Warner Brother masters? What’s wrong with a fat or even plus-sized character that isn’t a joke or having some emotional issue, even when they aren’t at an unhealthy weight?
