Jazza’s diorama:
Real Terrain Hobbies’ diorama:

Four down, one to go. Even with numbers these pups haven’t proven to be much of a challenge, but Cholas likes to cheat because he has no honor. Whatever issues I would have with the Clans’ idea of combat and various world views, they’re at least usually an honorable bunch, though some push that boundary more than others. (Watch the last episode of the cartoon and you’ll see what I mean. “To the letter” nothing.)
I still don’t understand why each chapter is starting with the full location and date, but nothing on the clock. Nothing has changed from the previous chapter and this chapter starts seconds after the last one. How much time did they expect the reader would be taking between chapters? Otherwise let’s see how this fight ends. I’m predicting a winner, but that’s because I know the other side is going for kill and this book is about the survivor.

Today was a busy week thanks to shopping, medical stuff, and voting. It’s 5:30 as I write this and I didn’t have a chance to start this week’s comic. Also, as mentioned in this week’s Clutter Report I updated my new phone, and I came up with an Art Soundoff idea for Jake and Max that I may work into Art Soundoff itself. And today I slept wrong and my back hurts. So I’m going to pass on a comic this week. Don’t worry, this is explainable in-universe.
Speaking of Art Soundoff, no new participants but I hope you’re enjoying the ones we have. There will be more from me this week. We also have the next chapter of BattleTech: I Am Jade Falcon and we’ll see how Joanna deals with her last opponent. I’m going to have at least one Sing Me A Story this week and if I’m lucky a Finally Watched, but it always seems to take a while to get to the next one of those. Have a good week, folks!

Beneficial as it might be to theme last week’s Showcase on Halloween with something related I didn’t know tonight’s offering had a two-week limit at the time or I would have showed it last week. It’s more annoying when the official postings go down than the unofficial ones, so if you want to see this one best watch it quick.
You may have seen the anime SSSS Gridman and found it neat how it resembled a live-action tokusatsu program, seeing as co-producer Tsuburaya is known for the Ultraman series. Some of you may even remember Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, DIC Entertainment’s attempt to ripoff the success of Power Rangers, and heard it was based on a show called Gridman. Tonight I get to give you a look into this series. Follow three kids who build their own computer just in time to be brought into a war within the computer world, and since Tron isn’t available one of them will have to become the virtual superhero Gridman to save a hospital under assault just as a little boy is about to undergo surgery for appendicitis. If it’s still up there watch it fast. If not there was a warning I added before the logo that it’s down now, so hopefully you haven’t missed your chance. If you don’t understand Japanese (like myself) there are subtitles in the closed captions. Enjoy.
