Darkwing Duck #7
BOOM! Studios (December 2010)
WRITER: Ian Brill ARTIST: James Silvani COLORIST: Andrew Dalhouse LETTERER: Deron Bennett EDITOR: Christopher Burns DESIGNER: Erika Teriquez ALTERNATE COVER (shown): Sabrina Alberghetti
As our heroes try to gather the remaining alternate reality Darkwings, this universes’ Darkwing goes with Morgana to confront Negaduck and Magica. During the magic fight, Morgana is able to perceive the threat beneath the water and it’s a major threat from the show.
What they got right: The villain reveal isn’t one I would have ever gotten and it’s interesting that the writer went that route. I like it. All the bits with the alternate Darkwings, including DW’s fight with Quiverwing Duck (complete with origin story, and gives me hope that Gosalyn will retake the identity in this reality so we can have Fenton back as Gizmoduck), is something that I would have loved to have seen in an animated movie. Anyone want to make this?
What they got wrong: I’d still like to know why Negaduck couldn’t figure out Darkwing’s identity if they’re the same guy? Aren’t they both Drake Mallard?
Recommendation: This is officially a must-read for ANY Darkwing Duck fan who misses the show. With Billy Batson off the shelves (again, why DC?), this is currently my favorite superhero comic.

Any joke I'd make here would pale in comparison.
Tomorrow’s Comic> Iron Man: Legacy #9

Well, in the Duck Knight arc, Negaduck said that he never tried to be another than hiself; so then, he never had an alter ego. That’s what I think.

I know he never had a secret identity, but unless his parents named him Negaduck he should have been born Drake Mallard until whatever turned him to the path of evil (where Drake in the other universes fought evil as Darkwing Duck…or bowling ball 🙂 )

Oh, that aslo can make sense… But of course Negaduck can deny that identity at the poit to forget it.
By the way, the las arc comic it’s already out; just for let you know
