With missiles flying all over the place, the other soldiers as well as Munakata finally wake up to Tohjo’s insanity, learning later that Makilla is the cause. The alien hoped to drag out Tiga and now that Daigo can get away from from his friends, he gives the monster what for. So Makilla grabs Munakata and Tohjo and forces Tiga to fight at human size. However, something under the base stirs…and he has his own mad-on for the Ultraman.
What they got right: Ooh, we’re going to see Tiga fight a giant monster at humans size. That could be good. Also nice to see everyone finally realized arming missiles and tossing them at their own cities was a villain move, no matter who was ultimately responsible. Of course, stopping him BEFORE the missiles were fired would have been a better idea.
What they got wrong: How about defeating Makilla BEFORE introducing a new enemy?
Recommendation: Still very much enjoying the comic. I’m going to hate seeing it end, but I’ve already chosen the next series for review. I will tell you to snag this series, though.
