BW’s Daily Video> The Best KISS Song From Scooby-Doo Meets KISS!

I’m not even kidding. That is KISS singing that and I so want footage of them singing this in full make-up. And this song was just intended for a joke in the story as Fred introduces his favorite band.

The CD cover calls the song “Don’t Grab My Ascot” but everyone calls it “Don’t Touch My Ascot”. Neither sentence is a lyric in the song.

The Many, MANY Intros Of Scooby-Doo: 13 Ghosts In A Demon’s Chest

ABC seemed to really like changing up the Scooby formula whenever the wind shifted. It was their time that led to the show being just about chases, and when the mysteries finally returned, it was still with an extra layer of the silliness. Just when things started getting back to normal however, the wind shifted again and we got The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo.

Scoobypedia, the website I’ve been getting my Scooby refresher from since I don’t have time to rewatch the whole show even though it’s on Tubi as of this writing, suggests that the success of Ghostbusters leading to both The Real Ghostbusters and Filmation reviving the comedy show that the movie licensed its name from as a cartoon may have lead to this change in direction. My official view on this show is I don’t hate it but the only reason it’s not my least favorite is that we got two other incarnations that I actually either don’t like even more or outright hate for being terrible as well as a bad direction for the franchise. However, what they put together for the most part was amazing, especially given the horror celebrity they got to co-star in the show: Vincent Price himself!

Chapter By Chapter> Tekwar chapter 13

Chapter By Chapter features me reading one chapter of the selected book at a time and reviewing it as if I were reviewing an episode of a TV show or an issue of a comic. There will be spoilers if you haven’t read to the point I have, and if you’ve read further I ask that you don’t spoil anything further into the book. Think of it as read-along book club.

Sorry for the day delay. Yesterday’s topic was worth getting out at the time. And now…our book

Our previous chapter should have been part of the chapter before it given how short it was. We also find another faction in the race to recover Kittridge. I wonder if Jake is questioning being let out of the freezer at this point?

This week’s chapter is a full-length chapter so I’m hoping for the story to get moved forward. I’m expecting more showing off how in The Future but at least the story has started moving. Not much else to say here so let’s read.
