I’d say we still don’t have a movie appearance of Huntress and Cassandra Cain, just two characters (mis)using their name.
I didn’t even know the next season was released.
In my YouTube catching up I just found out about this. I guess Kevin Smith would rather have nobody talk about him than hate him, which is the opposite of what I usually hear out of comic writers and others in entertainment. “At least they’re talking about me” is their usual defense, but why you’d be happy nobody is talking about you instead of trying to do a better job–or why you’re just happy to be talked about even if it’s to tell you how much you suck are thought patterns I can’t wrap my head around. There will always be people who don’t like your work, but why encourage them to not like you MORE?
Anyway, I went through my dresser drawers in this week’s Clutter Report.
We’re getting closer to the end of Star Trek: Prime Directive over at Chapter By Chapter, but we’re also on the last two of the DC Universe comics in my collection either physical or digital…unless you count the Super Powers Collection still being in the Free Comic Inside rotation. In two weeks (so remind me) I’ll let you know what long-running series will take its place. Also, I’ll be trying to reduce my long list of daily videos so prepare for a lot of those this week. And based on what happens with discussible topics this week I plan a new list of intros, like I’ve done in the past with Batman and Transformers for example. This trip around I’m hoping to do The Many Intros Of Superman, because I’ve already done Batman and the Super Friends/Justice League. He should be next. (I was actually considered doing Scooby-Doo but I’ll save that until we’re a bit closer to October or something.) I’m also going to take the previous Many Intros miniseries and put them into their own category list so you can find all the intros of your favorite long-running franchise…considering I’ve gone over it.

Ultra Galaxy Fight is a series of YouTube specials in which the Ultramen, Japan’s giant monster-fighting giants, team up against a shared threat. It’s like an Ultraman Justice League. The first in this series, New Generation Heroes, has already been on here. Tonight I bring you the second collection of episodes, The Absolute Conspiracy.
The so-called Absolute Lifeforms begin their attack on the light of the universe. The invasion is led by Absolute Tartarus and will involve many of the Ultramen and Ultrawomen, including the Galaxy Rescue Force. The story continues into the just-starting The Destined Crossroad, but this is a movie collection of the individual episodes of The Absolute Conspiracy on the official Ultraman YouTube channel. What I’m posting is the English version because this is an English site. If you’d rather see it in the original Japanese, check this link here and turn on the closed captions. Either way, enjoy.

Way back I found a song that was condemning teachers being used in an advertisement promoting teachers. I could have sworn I wrote about it but either WordPress ate it, I have a hacker, or I’m still jumping dimensions. Ron Howard’s still President, right? Anyway tonight’s offering isn’t quite that bad but it still feels like nobody listened to the song when AirBNB put out this commercial.
It’s a sweet little ad, in which a yeti family enjoys a vacation home before showing us it’s a human family, sending the message that, as it says at the end of the ad, strangers aren’t that strange. Not sure I want them living in my house, but that’s what rental homes are for.
The song is Kevin Morby’s “Beautiful Strangers”, a single released in 2016 and while still a calming song, hence why they chose it, once you find out what it’s about the topic is not so sweet. It’s about mass shootings. Enjoy playing Jenga to that knowing the history.
This may well be the laziest cover I have ever posted to this site.
