BW’s Best Friday Night Fights part 4

PART 1|PART 2|PART 3

My continuing look at the best fights I’ve posted from my collection…continues. This part will go into “Fight Life”, another free-for-all but I actually went themeless for the first time. From there it’s Repeat, Rehash, REVENGE!, which you may not get the full scope of because it was about using someone from the last fight in the next fight and I won’t be posting all of them. This is only about the favorites of the fights I’ve used. The final tournament we’ll check out is “Smokin’ Joe”. The theme was usually reserved for the championship, later the Prize Fight, and each tournament named for a famous boxer, real or fictional. So let’s see what we have from these three.

BW’s Morning Article Link: Jurassic Park Go

So yesterday I posted about the new Nintendo Switch Pokémon game that works with the mobile game. Well, while you’re waiting for that there’s a game promoting the next Jurassic Park franchise movie where you swap out the Pokémon for dinosaurs. So more like Dinosaur King I guess. So now you have a new reason to brave the burning sky-ball and go places. I wonder if we’ll get dinosaurs in strip clubs like some reports of other games like this have mentioned?

BW Filler Video: Everything Wrong With The Last Jedi

Last month I did my Finally Watched review of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. While it was fun to watch at the time, my critic side kept noticing some flaws. You know how something seems okay but the more you think about it the less sense it makes? That’s kind of me and The Last Jedi. I still don’t hate the movie but it did make some big fails in storytelling and Star Wars.

To that end I’d like to show you this episode of Cinema Sins as they look into everything the movie did wrong. And there’s a rather long list, but there were a few moments they actually took sins off for. It doesn’t help. WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AND MINOR CURSING AHEAD!

BW’s Morning Article Link: Pokemon Go-ing To The Switch

Last night (probably two night by the time this goes live) my Pokémon-playing friends were buzzing about a new Pokémon game, one even stating that it was finally time to buy a Nintendo Switch so he could play it. Today (yesterday afternoon live-time) I checked my e-mail for potential morning article links and found out what they were talking about. Pokémon Let’s Go is a new game for the Switch that will also be compatible with the mobile game Pokémon Go, can be used with one Joy-Con or a special Pokéball peripheral, and will feature other surprises. I’m not a huge player myself because I don’t have time to play long RPGs but I can see why they were all so excited.

Previewing DC’s Streaming Universe

Everybody seems to want their own streaming service. DC Entertainment, the company that DC Comics started only to now just be a part of, is starting their own service of the DC owned shows. Although it’s a division of Warner Brothers so it’s really just going to be Warner Brothers’ owned DC shows. They’re calling it DC Universe, because things aren’t confusing enough between comics, movies, TV, and video games. They’re each their own continuity while the video games have numerous continuities. Right now it’s just a preview site of their original shows, which may or may not be a shared universe…Marvel Studios has the right idea. One continuity for movies, TV and Netflix, and a separate one for the cartoons. DC’s beyond comics ideas are kind of jumbled, and then they botched the “Extended Universe” of the movies by letting Zack Synder and David Goyer near it. They’ve proven to be good creators but a bad fit for the DC Multiverse.

I’ve heard that it might include previous shows and movies but all the site is currently showing are the original series, and I’ll be using this article from Fansided to collect the summaries of what the series should be about.
