In other words, we’re only allowed to post one panel, and it better be a good one. Well, Shockwave brought us our first ever FNF here at the Spotlight, so it’s only fair that we thank him. Actually, Jetfire (through the will of Buster Witwicky–long story) wants to give his creator a message from the Autobots.

Cliff Notes: Things worked differently in the comic universe. For one thing, Shockwave was actually a decent Decepticon commander, probably my favorite as a character. (As a guy rooting for the heroes, I’d go with Scorponok. 🙂 ) Jetfire here was under the control of Buster, who had the Creation Matrix (which was a program until Simon came along and turned it into a Matrix of Leadership knock-off) in his head Shockwave wanted it. He didn’t get it. Prime later tossed him into a swamp after a somewhat longer battle.
I need a new format for the One Panel of Pain. This what I’m going with for now, but there are 12 rounds. You can catch more one-shot wonders, and start taking bets on how many and how soon we get the famous “Batman takes down Guy Gardner with one punch” panel.

A lot better than the “loyal lap dog” of the cartoon. I did notice trying to figure out this first round that Shockwave has taken a lot of physical abuse during the various series, and even dished out some. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back here before the tournament is over.
