Well, this week…wait, did you actually make a joke?

I DO have an occasional moment of humor. You should try it sometime.

Right, well…HEY! {shakes head} Anyway, tonight we take a trip to one of the biggest movies in geekdom, Blade Runner, courtesy of a Marvel Comics adaptation. It made Ridley Scott a household name among the sci-fi set, and deservedly so.

Do you think it had any bearing on Spacebooger’s choice of location?

The Promoters: Archie Goodwin (adaptation), Hampton Fancher & David Peoples (unappreciated screenwriters–seriously, all you hear about are the director and Philip K. Dick, the author of the original story, and never the screenwriters–THAT’S A CRIME…)

Our hero, Rick Deckard, has tracked one of his “replicant” targets, Pris, to the home of one of her creators.

Pris is, of course, a rouge member of the “Nexus Six”, a model of replicant that is practically human, but only has four years to exist. She’s in disguise.
