I approve of this image.

DVD (that’s what we call him in the newsgroup) has some other art that can be seen at his site. He also reviews like crazy.

I believe I shall wait for the Blu-Ray.

Well, this week…wait, did you actually make a joke?

I DO have an occasional moment of humor. You should try it sometime.

Right, well…HEY! {shakes head} Anyway, tonight we take a trip to one of the biggest movies in geekdom, Blade Runner, courtesy of a Marvel Comics adaptation. It made Ridley Scott a household name among the sci-fi set, and deservedly so.

Do you think it had any bearing on Spacebooger’s choice of location?

I would…wait, what..are you going to keep doing that to me all post?

Maybe.

Round 10 of 12

The Battlefield: Blade Runner movie adaptation #2 (Marvel Comics: November 1982)

The Promoters: Archie Goodwin (adaptation), Hampton Fancher & David Peoples (unappreciated screenwriters–seriously, all you hear about are the director and Philip K. Dick, the author of the original story, and never the screenwriters–THAT’S A CRIME…)

Just get on with it.

I’m just saying…anyway we also have Al Williamson and Carlos Garzon (pencilers and inkers) with Dan Green and Ralph Reese (other inkers), Marie Severin (colorist), and Ed King (letterer)

Our hero, Rick Deckard, has tracked one of his “replicant” targets, Pris, to the home of one of her creators.

It's bad luck to see the bride in her dress before the wedding.

Pris is, of course, a rouge member of the “Nexus Six”, a model of replicant that is practically human, but only has four years to exist. She’s in disguise.

It does not appear to be working. It seems the female will…

You can put an eye out like that.

…I stand corrected. It is doubtful the male survived such a blow.

Nah, that’s just for artistic effect.

Where is your evidence.

Well, there’s the fact that he’s narrating. For another, I’ve seen the full scene.

You will produce this scene, three-panel maximum or not!

How about a YouTube-posted clip to make everyone happy.

That will suffice.

A warning to the readers: Don’t watch this before bedtime.

I stand corrected again. If we may consider it even for earlier, there are more important details. Fleshlings, you do not have to be a participant to vote for your favorite entry, and last week’s voting was disappointingly below par! Surrender to the cause, view the other entries, and VOTE NOW!! Or my forces will hunt you all down!

You’re starting to concern me now.

That fool Rumble deleted certain key datatrax that I must recover. That is more than you need to know.

Not reacting. One last notation I want to make is that Boom! Studios is currently adapting Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, the novel that became Blade Runner. Keep an eye out for it if it interests you, but know that they are very different in a number of areas. NOW GO VOTE!
