Last night, many many people (I couldn’t be bothered to find out how many, but it’s a lot) got in front of the television for an annual event enjoyed by all…the Super Bowl advertisements. Oh, and there some game or something, I wasn’t paying attention. Pac-Man versus Steel I think, possibly some unlocked level of DC Universe Online.
So once again I come before you with a list of my favorite advertisements. I chose my favorites then slowly whittled them down until I couldn’t whittle anymore. Now this doesn’t include movie ads (although Cowboys & Aliens looks interesting), just the product and service ads. So here in random order are the best of the best of the advertisements according to BW Media Spotlight. (aka, me)
Kenny G would stop more prison riots than you think. I don’t mean his music, I mean he’d go all Chuck Norris on their butts. Don’t mess with him.
It’s funny because it’s true.
I have a new hero.
Elton John would win in a shoot out. Except against Kenny G. He will mess you up.
Richard Lewis is no Betty White (SHE can take Kenny G), but I want an animated GIF of Roseanne Barr getting smacked with a flying log. That would be my new forum avatar if I can get the file size right.
Where’s Kenny G when you need him?
Totally here for the wrong reasons, and it has nothing to do with the car.
Something about it just clicks.
Tell me you wouldn’t watch that as a TV series. How do you think Lassie lasted so long?
And the best one this year!
Good narrative and impressive computer graphics. Note that these aren’t all the ones I liked, because that would be a huge list, but the best of the lot. You can decide for yourself over at YouTube’s “adblitz” channel or Hulu’s “AdZone” section.
