Let me start off by saying…I’m sorry for this.

So start doing something satire-worthy, entertainment industry.

Yeah, I have strips with lame jokes just in case I really need a comic. And this week I’ve been trying to catch up on things, since my weekends have been all over the place. Plus, I still have the videos from Classiconn to start doing, which I’m hoping will be this week. So outside of introducing the new Chapter by Chapter book, this won’t be a heavy article week. So what else are we up to?

  • The Clutter Reports: Speaking of Chapter by Chapter, the previous book, Transformers: Exodus gets a full book report. You’ve seen how my opinions were shaped from one chapter (or group of chapters) to the next, but what did I think of the book overall? The answer’s on the other site.
  • Reviewers Unknown: Now that all of the 52 titles have relaunched, it’s a wrap-up (seems to be a theme this week) of the four comics worthy of my picking up, plus a few bonus thoughts on what interested me and what didn’t. I have a feeling I’m not done with the new 52 (since I have a category called “death of DC”, I’m sure your not surprised) but I think we’re going to pull back a bit and see what they do next. I expect it to be just as stupid.
  • This week’s Cracked: The 16 Most Baffling Pieces  of Official Merchandise Ever is a shorter read than you think (especially when compared to my RU entry this week). But these are official collectibles too weird to not mention. You’ve gone Dune for kids, Jar-Jar Binks tongue candy…have I already lost you?

Best Scene of This Week’s Reviews

Doctor Who V2 #9

Robert Kirkman, the gauntlet is cast! Outdo this, I dare you!

So I’m still trying to really decide what to do with this section beyond the comic and these three links. I’m open to ideas, but remember that something quick is the goal.

About ShadowWing Tronix

A would be comic writer looking to organize his living space as well as his thoughts. So I have a blog for each goal. :)

Well, I like the “Best Scene” fine! Why change a good thing?

I had the same problem with “This Week in Geek”. At first I linked to other blogs or websites of note, but then tried to do something else. It never worked, and I was always running dry on inspiration, so I just gave up and left it at that.

    • But you found a use, remarking on stuff you’ve done. I haven’t had time to do a lot lately, and I changed from Weekly Wrap-Up because I didn’t have time to hunt things down. (Which is odd because I started that section because I didn’t have time to review all my comics in one day.) I want to do more than the comic, and all I’ve got is the two articles I do elsewhere and This Week’s Cracked, plus Best Scene because I just don’t feel like dropping that feature.
