Today’s Comic> Sonic Universe #37

Archie Comics (April, 2012)

Snively makes his latest move against Eggman, and plans to use Hope to help rescue Regina, the Iron Queen. Eggman calls together his Dark Egg Legion to prove he isn’t dead and introduces his full team of Metal versions of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, led by the Roboticized Sally. Then he takes off after Snively.

What they got right: For new fans, a good way to introduce the united group of Sonic villains.

(Although I don’t remember the Raiju clan “bride” joining Eggman. Did I forget a story?)

What they got wrong: Although that’s all they’re getting. Plus, another villain story arc? Can we please have the next arc feature some of the good guys of the Sonic universe that we don’t see anymore? For example, what’s Rob O’ The Hedge up to these days?

Recommendation: I know some of these characters and they were nice to see again, but it’s just trying to start the next arc. Not a lot happens so new readers may want to wait until the story gets going. This is another four-part arc.

If I made a lonelygirl15 joke, would anyone even remember what I was talking about?
