This just feels like a propaganda poster to me.

G-Force is forced to protect the Spectra monster robot from the military to save Anderson and the President. Tomak has a chat with his Rigan superiors. Mark calls out Jason, wondering what he was doing on that roof and knowing he could have killed Anderson easily with that shot. Jason goes on about his being the “black hat” and Mark being the “white hat” or something. G-Force later saves Anderson and the President, but Jason disappears and someone in a G-Force uniform appears months later helping Spectra.

What they got right: Tomorrow’s Friday Night Fight will feature a scene from this comic, probably the coolest joint G-Force moment in the series. There is some great action and a setup for further adventures.

What they got wrong: It’s a cliffhanger that will never be solved. The next two minis (a three-parter that will finish off this week and a six-parter I’ll probably go through next week since I won’t get my first new paycheck until next Thursday) seem to be barely, if at all, connected to this maxi-series and Sharrieff doesn’t get to tell how the story ends. (Actually, if I ever did get to interview him about his BOTP run I would ask how he planned to continue the story.)

Recommendation: Despite the unresolved cliffhanger, this series and the upcoming minis I’ll be going through are great stories and very much recommended.
