Free Comic Book Day this weekend!

This weekend houses the first Saturday in May. That means Free Comic Book Day. There are going to be some interesting offerings this year, and I’ll be live-Tweeting (with the same hashtag, #BW_FCBD) as much of my haul as I can, since I have to work later that day (on a Saturday–that just feels wrong). I’ll review the rest when I get home from work.

And please remember that these comics are only free for YOU! The comic store still pays for these comics plus shipping. So please browse the shelves and buy something, or if something you picked up strikes your interest, head back to the comic store and pick up the regular issues of that series.

By the way, if you’re anywhere near Legends of Superheros in Middlebury (near Watertown), CT, Serenity cover artist Don Dan Santos will be there and I plan to show up as well. Not sure if I’ll bring the camera and do some interviewing or just enjoy the free comics (while picking up my usual haul, of course). Happy Free Comic Book Day.
