Time to get my stuff together for the first convention of the year, but I’m not leaving without something for you. I hope to have a Friday Night Fight entry up tomorrow, but if not this should make up for things.

Earlier this week actor Ernest Borgnine passed away from kidney failure at the age of 95. The man has a huge list of movies and TV shows he appeared in, but I know him best from Disney’s The Black Hole and the first time I saw him, the CBS series Airwolf. Since Saturday Night Showcase isn’t around anymore, I bring you the pilot (no pun intended) episode in two parts (for syndication). While the series of a super-helicopter and it’s pilots was more Jan Michael Vincent’s show than Borgnine he’s important to the show and my introduction to the actor.

The entire series (including the USA Network version without the two main actors) is available on Hulu and worth checking out for that 80’s goodness.
