As Holt, Desaad is taking over Starr Industries thinking our heroines have discovered a way off of this Earth so he can end his exile. He also sends out a monster to track the women down, but that’s not all he has planned.
What they got right: The fight scenes were pretty good.
What they got wrong: It’s not that they got anything wrong, but I’ve been sitting here for awhile trying to come up with a review and drawing a blank. This is an issue where Power Girl and Huntress fight a giant talking dog and…I wasn’t into it. Things are “weird” in my personal life this week but I should have enjoyed this more than I did.
Recommendation: I still say give it a look because maybe you’ll get more out of it than I did, but I didn’t get into it this week. Maybe the direction the title has taken isn’t doing it for me, or maybe it’s just this issue. Time will tell.
