As more monsters appear the CKR are busy. The mysterious aliens take the opportunity to enter their base and steal the Godzilla sample for their own plans. But the little creatures (their monsters, not the aliens) have attracted the attention of Godzilla.
What they got right: There’s so much to praise here. I like the art, I like the design for the aliens, I like the new monsters, including the debut of the baby Destroyahs and Manda. Mowry’s also making me like Woods, even though he still hasn’t answered for leaving people to die because he hated their show. Also, we find out what happened to the remains of the Monster Kill Crew.
What they got wrong: Nothing. I have nothing to complain about.
Recommendation: This is one of the comics I would really like to keep up on. It maybe my favorite storyline of the ongoing Godzilla universe of mini-series…how about one ongoing title, IDW? Anyway, you should be picking this up.
I thought only Matt Burkett swore to Godzilla?
