With a new Supergirl TV series coming, viewers won’t know that there was a point in time when the Girl Of Steel was dead in the DC Universe, until a new continuity finally brought her back (after she had been replaced with a shapeshifter from another dimension), although not quite back. Brian Cronin discusses the death of Supergirl in Crisis On Infinite Earths in the latest installment of “The Past Was Close Behind”.
