Yes, this week featured Darkhawk and Tombstone fighting again, and ordinarily this would be my entry. On the other hand, how many chances does one get to have C-3PO kicking butt? And this is the second time this tournament! So that’s what I’m ending the Wildcat tourney on, darn it!
“Wildcat” round 12
The Battlefield: Star Wars: Droids V2 #3 (Dark Horse; June, 1995) “Rebellion” part 3
The Promoters: Ryder Windham (writer), Ian Gibson (artist), Perry McNamee (colorist), and Ellie DeVille (letterer)
On a barge about to execute a ship-wide mindwipe on the all-droid passengers, C-3PO upsets a jerk droid who is spoiling for a fight. Since this is C-3PO you probably have an idea how that’s going.

Here’s a question. If your about to lose your memory anyway, isn’t being insulted enough to beat him up rather pointless?
But give Threepio credit. He’ll take whatever this guy can dish out. And then something comes over C-3PO. As in another program.
This new program does more than change Threepio’s eye color.
We may never get Threepio beating up someone again, so you better believe we’re going out on that one! Darkhawk and Tombstone can wait.
Head over to Spacebooger.com by Sunday Night and vote for your favorite Friday Night Fight! (Forum membership is NOT required to vote, only to comment.) Winners of these 12 rounds will be in the Prize Fight in (usually) the next two weeks. Please join us in the next tournament because we could use the competition!
