Maybe it was the recent passing of Carrie Fisher that woke Lucasfilm up to the limited amount of female characters in a franchise that transcends gender, but they’re finally giving the little girls a closer look at their role models. ICv2 has information and early videos on Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny, which will focus on the few females of the canon films and animated series, aimed at young girls. Most of the focus in these clips is Rey from the one Star Wars movie I still have yet to see. If you have to ask why you’re new here and haven’t heard what happened in 2016. I do really want to see it.

This Star Wars: Forces of Destiny intellectual property sounds like it will be very inspirational for young girls and also for women. Plus, males can get into some of these items too. It’s great to see the Star Wars Universe continues to live on.

I also like that animation pic that depicts Princess Leia with the Ewoks. Anything that brings back the Ewoks is cool with me.
