It looks like Freeform wants to get into the Marvel spinoff game as well. The former ABC Family will be host to the live-action Cloak & Dagger which will presumably also be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (I think ESPN is the only holdout at this point. Or maybe Disney Junior.) ICv2 has the trailer, which makes it look like another depressing teen drama, which is Freeform’s target audience lately, and “Dagger” seems to have most of the focus. I never read the comics so maybe that fits, but from the appearances I’ve seen in the comics I’m not convinced.
