The Four Color Media Monitor comments on a series of newsstories reporting that various Arab nations are banning the Wonder Woman movie because it’s title star, Gal Gadot, is Israeli in origin. Although a revealing-outfited woman who beats up bad guys soldiers–all male–probably didn’t make them happy, either.

Even so, you better believe that those countries’ leaders or wealthy individuals will be watching their own smuggled in copies of the Wonder Woman movie. That’s how it usually works in those countries. The leaders deny something to the masses, but the politicians and the super wealthy get to indulge in whatever has been banned.
