2017 was actually a good year for you, Tronix, when compared with 2016. You were certainly healthier in 2017. Here’s hoping that 2018 will be even better because that will be the year you get back into a paying job. In terms of Bwspotlight, I think that the best thing you did was the Voltronathon that lasted for multiple months in 2017. It’s your work such as that which makes me look forward to seeing what you do with the site in 2018. If you get to continue some more with Galactic Adventures, that would be awesome. With Captain Yuletide, as long as you finish the comic before Feb. 1st, you’re good. Because February is all about Captain Cupid, and March is all about Captain Leprechaun.

I’ve been snowed in yesterday and today (work cancelled due to the snow one day and the clean up the next day). During this time, I’ve been reading some Ireland tourism books that I have borrowed from my local library. While reading these books, I came up with the idea for a March comic strip (for around St. Patrick’s Day) that connects Star Wars and an Irish controversy that is starting to pop up due to Star Wars. The comic strip would focus on an Irish character. Again, the connection to Star Wars would be made in the strip. I don’t want to give any more details because I don’t want anybody else to steal my idea. Next time that I talk with you on the phone, I’ll share more of what I’m thinking. But I was wondering if I draw such a comic strip, would you be willing to color it and then scan the St. Patrick’s Day themed cartoon around March 17th onto your BW website? Of course, the comic strip would be family friendly.

    • I’d help you find space and link to it, but I don’t want to start a precedence. Plus I’m working just to get this comic done, and it might still have to be next week before it’s posted.

Ok, we’ll see. Thanks for considering. It would just be a one time thing. I could even have it just be in black and white where all you would have to do is scan it in. Or I could use coloring pencils from work, so I’ll do the coloring. I would hand it to you in person before March 17th, and you would just scan it to your site. The idea ties together Star Wars, Irish history, and modern Ireland all wrapped together into a four frame comic strip (a one-shot just for the St. Patrick’s Day time period).
