From VHS to streaming online, the history of home video is quite interesting to see how far technology has come to bring us movies, television shows, documentaries, and whatever else. While there are minor format you may never have heard of, a few became dominant and some of those fought other formats to survive. Whatever happened to laserdiscs and HD-DVDs, and those are just the formats you’ve most likely heard of. What caused the rise of the video rental store, and their downfall. Is it better to have a physical copy or just stream it from the internet?
