Yes, Fantasy Island is getting its second remake only this time in movie form. Michael Pena is set to star as Ricardo Montoban’s character Mr. Roarke. I wonder who will play Tattoo in this current social culture? Also, I’m betting this is going to be some kind of re-imaging rather than the 1998 remake that was at least close. What little I saw of it anyway.

A Fantasy Island movie should be interesting as will the Dora the Explorer movie which the same actor playing Montalban’s character will also be a part of. The Fantasy Island movie could also revive interest in the classic Fantasy Island television series of the late 70s and early 80s.
