Every year I (try to) bring you a superhero comic called Captain Yuletide. The story involves a special group of elves chose to save Christmas by being granted the power of Captain Yuletide. (Think Captain Universe over at Marvel, but not as overpowered.) Joined by the magic-infused Bryce The Green-Nosed Reindeer, the elf chosen is based on his or her special talents that makes them best suited to save Christmas from whatever the threat is. While I work on this year’s why not read the first four issues and get caught up with the legacy? They’re all downloadable PDF files for easy viewing and free. It’s a Christmas present you don’t have to worry about returning if you don’t like it. I hope you do though.

Captain Yuletide #1
: Introduces the series concept and follows Mitch’s attempt to save Christmas from the evil Dr. Carbonoid.

Captain Yuletide #2: Zek thinks his size limits what he can do, and is happy to become Captain Yuletide. But when he and Bryce are led into a trap trying to save Santa from the Krampus, can Zek learn size isn’t as big a limit as he thinks?

Captain Yuletide #3: Flashback to the origin of Captain Yuletide. When the evil Winterfrost proves not every magic snowman is a good guy, Yulie is chosen to become the first Captain Yuletide. But how did Bryce The Green-Nosed Reindeer join him?

Captain Yuletide #4: Dianna loves a white Christmas so much she can’t fathom anyone not liking snow on Christmas. She better learn fast before the Snowbringer turns an Australian summer into a winter wonderland. This issue also introduces the new logo and my first girl elf to become Captain Yuletide. Don’t worry, she isn’t the last.

Now I need to get back to work in hopes of getting this year’s comic done by Christmas.
