As the last Sunday of November 2019 this is the last of Jake and Max participating in Art Soundoff this year. (I however have one more week.) One advantage is I think I’m getting better at giving Max a unique head design from Jake without being all sharp angles. It makes him look less human and Max is supposed to be likable, just with questionable marketing strategies.
You can also see the problem I have with consistency since they’re in the same pose all the time but at least you know I didn’t copy/paste them. Granted that’s what I did with the background but it was easier that way.
Over at The Clutter Reports this week I did my last multi-toy review of Transformers Universe with the team of Magna Stampede, Stockade, and the Mini-Cons Prowl and Terradive. I think I have time for one more project before it’s time to set up for Christmas.
As I said this is the last week for the Art Soundoff challenge but I plan to do my usual end of challenge art showoff. This year I’m going to design the cover for this year’s Captain Yuletide and show off my art processes. Hopefully it will be interesting. Meanwhile more of the “lost part” of The Merry Adventures Of Robin Hood, and this book may end some time in December. I don’t think it will make it to January but I will wait until then to start the next book and it has been chosen. Meanwhile, the Richie Rich “Rich Rescue” comics will be taking over the Friday spot. Yes I’ve already reviewed them but I really want to read them again and it’s only four issues, while I’m jumping ahead to book two of Robotech II: The Sentinels since my collection isn’t consistent until the Academy Comics period. I have some other stuff planned, but we’ll see what I can pull off as I need to get started on Captain Yuletide and the Christmas video…not so much a review this year as an essay. You’ll see what I mean when it comes out. Hope everyone has a good week!
