Years ago a local horror museum here in Connecticut played the original UK release of King Kong (the unedited version which includes Kong eating people–though not gory–and Ann Darrow being striped–to her 1940s undergarments) in a school on a typical home-sized movie screen. Unless a local theater decided to show it or you know a film buff with a copy and either a movie projector or a modern projector, I’d wager most of you out there haven’t even had that. Well, now you have the chance to see it on the big screen for the first time since before color was invented thanks to Fathom Events.
