Write it off as shameless promotion for the upcoming third movie in the Bill & Ted franchise if you want but I doubt the graduating class at the real San Dimas High School (yeah, I didn’t know it was real either) cares. With the quarantine shutting down most graduating events the school decided to do it virtually through webcams, tablets, and smartphones, and were surprised that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter were able to actually attend. I guess it’s easier to make an appearance if you don’t have to fly out there. Too bad there’s no video because I would have loved to see the reaction from the graduates.

It was nice of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to stop by the virtual graduation of San Dimas High School’s Class of 2020. Until this article, I didn’t know that there was a real San Dimas High School or even a real town named San Dimas in California. But I looked it up, and the town of San Dimas actually has a very interesting history…..even before Bill and Ted!
Now that movie theaters are starting to reopen in many states during this month of June (June 17th here in Connecticut!), maybe the new Bill and Ted movie will still appear at the cinemas in August. This is one movie that I would actually want to see in a movie theater. But if I can’t, then I’ll just have to wait a couple of years for it to appear on TBS or the Comedy channel.
