And I had to go to another site to get that. Back before Amazon made the boneheaded decision to merge comiXology into the Kindle store before it was ready I could look up a comic even if it wasn’t offered so long as it was in my library. Not anymore. Thanks for ruining a great online reader, Jeff!
This is a short story. Gyro tries to invent a defrosting ray for his refrigerator but he makes it too powerful. (See what I mean?) Instead it destroys the fridge and melts ice on the mountain near Duckburg, defrosting a monster who attacks the Money Bin. Upset, Gyro leaves for the Arctic to continue to perfect the device, and defrosts some wooly mammoths instead.
There’s not much to say here. It’s only seven pages, but I don’t know if it was a reprint from somewhere else or a short digital comic that Kindle apparently doesn’t have even though comiXology did. It’s a fun little tale about Gyro having his usual tech issues. It’s worth a read but not really worth going crazy to hunt down.
