I’m fairly certain the first time I became fascinated with the deeper aspects of Sodor lore was learning that Henry was possibly rebuilt completely to accommodate Welsch coal in his system, a sort of “ship of Theseus” moment. I do hope Rin considers picking up a copy of the updated version of “Sodor: Its History, People, and Railways” for the latest island news. For instance, a nuclear power plant was just built on the northwest side this past year; finally, Sodor joins the 20th century… in the year 2025!

Sounds like she was traumatized enough, and that wasn’t even her full stream. You should see the thumbnail for the longer version.

I’m not sure there’s been a clearer sign that Mattel’s decision to greenlight “Big World Big Adventures,” a season that saw Thomas and a few pals visiting various countries and helping new local characters with problems, wouldn’t look incredibly baffling nearly a decade later. Thank goodness she didn’t drill down even deeper to “All Engines Go,” the Muppet Babies/My Little Pony ripoff series that, while certainly not bad quality wise, was definitely the most disappointing branch of the franchise overall. Here’s hoping the upcoming reboot goes well… Also, “Wonders of Sodor” runs like hot garbage on my computer, but the novelty of daily mail runs with Percy is too magical for words.
