I’m behind on my Ultraman. I’ll have to work through that, but at least I can get up to date on the SNS side by posting Ultraman ARC. The 34th entry of the franchise takes us to Hoshimoto City. 16 years ago, the arrival of a kaiju horn coincided (or maybe started; I haven’t watched this one yet and it’s in the backlog…of course) with kaiju appearing. To investigate, the Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Prevention center tries to live up to their acronym by helping “skip” kaiju battles so there’s no more destruction. Until then we have Global Defense Force to handle the giant monsters.
Yuma Hize is part of SKIP, a kaiju biologist. As an agent from the GDF, Shu Ishido, joins Rioshi and Rin as well as Yuma and the team’s robot, YoPi. One wonders if the US dub is going to keep making the obvious joke?
Like previous we have the English only dub for those of you in a hurry, and a version from the Japanese channel that has all the dub languages and subtitles depending on how your YouTube player is set up. Choose your preference and prepare to imagine. Enjoy.
English (and some other Western language for some reason) only
Japanese version (why not just add it to the dub and sub tracks on both channels?)
