The redesign of She-Hulk doesn’t work for a lot of reasons, and don’t give me “male gaze” nonsense because her character was built around it. Women who actually read comics celebrate her. She’s strong not just physically but her personality. She’s a lawyer. If she has any issues it’s her hatred of her normal body, which she can turn into any time she wants and chooses not to in favor of her big and sexy green body. But no, we’d rather let the body shamers get rid of anything remotely attractive. We’ve become obsessed with ugly and it isn’t any better than being obsessed with beauty.
