Something a little different tonight. I found an interesting looking fanfilm on YouTube, but due to the 10 minute rule, it’s broken up in parts. I was hoping the full version would be on Google, so I could post the full thing (and not have to view it myself in bits). No luck, but I did come across what is either a cable access or local PBS show out of Washington, DC called Fantastic Forum. Produced by host (for this episode, as all four panelists were on a rotation) Ulysses E. Campbell, Fantastic Forum is a panel discussion show about comics, including (at least in this edition) a quick interview segment and a toy review.
Although posted to Google Video in 2007, the discussions are still relevant today. (Of course, it’s only been two years.) The episode posted here (my favorite of the lot) focuses on the concept of heroes and heroism, and I agree with the panelists that almost half-hour wasn’t enough.
Again, I can’t fullscreen. The parties involved need to work on that. At any rate, you can find more of these shows over at Google Video, helpfully indexed at their homepage, but it appears only 13 episodes were produced. The first episode appears to be unavailable, which makes one (one being me) wonder if they lost it or if they’re just embarrassed by it. 🙂
