Justice League International #2
DC Comics (December, 2011)
WRITER: Dan Jurgens PENCILER: Aaron Lopresti INKER: Matt Ryan LETTERER: Travis Lanham COLORS: Hi-Fi EDITOR: Rex Ogle
The JLI get their butts handed to them, and Booster’s decision to retreat when Ice is hurt doesn’t sit well with the team, or Guy, but they’re aren’t the major threat and the new League is going to have to work out the chain of command fast.
What they got right: Hey, a team can have trouble getting along without being jerks (except for Guy Gardner, of course. Every character was likeable, even the disagreeable ones. Everyone has the right intentions that they’ll have to work out.
What they got wrong: Apparently in this reality Guy and Ice only have a few dates rather than having been a couple. Unless Booster and Godiva are going to be the new couple (will at least be fun watching her try), it’s too bad. I’d like to see exes or a current couple in the book.
Recommendation: Buy the daylights out of this comic. It’s fun, and action packed, just how I like my comics, although I want to see how their downtime goes.

"That's it, Marty Signalman, if you can't play with your toys right, I'll take them away!" "Aww, mom!"
